Educational Games

While we stock our games primarily for their entertainment value, many of our games have some educational value as well. In fact, one could argue that there's something valuable to learn from just about every game. Still, if you're looking for a game that has educational value, there are clearly some that are better than others.

Here is a list of just some of the games that I think have the most educational value.

Apples to Apples Parts of speech, particularly adjectives and nouns. Popular figures.

BuyWord Spelling. Simple economics.

Power Grid Economics. US and German geography.

Project GIPF series Logic. Strategy.

And of course there are any number of games set in specific periods and places that could be used as introductions to history.
